Novice Riders

Rider Description:

You have little or no experience mountain biking. You do not own a mountain bike suitable for the Bike Park. You are ready to try a high performance mountain bike and have an experienced guide show you the ropes.

Recomended Programs:

We highly recommend that as a novice rider you hire one of our fun and qualified guides to teach you the skills you will need, show you the right trails and tell you about the many points of interest. We recommend the following programs:

Bike Park 101

Bike Park 101

The perfect program for beginner riders who would like an introduction to the Whistler Mountain Bike Park.

Trail Selections:

Our entry level trail is called Easy Does It and is generally similar to a sidewalk made of smooth dirt. If you can ride a bike on pavement, you can ride Easy Does It with the assistance of a guide. Although not technically difficult, it is an exceptionally beautiful ride from the top of Fitzsimmons chair through the forest to return to the village base.
